Our cozy glamping school bus offers a truly unique stay, set among the forest with a spectacular ocean view. This converted “schoolie” combines comfort and creativity with a peaceful natural setting.
Inside, bamboo flooring and warm wood accents create a welcoming space. The bus features a very comfortable queen-sized mattress with ample storage underneath. A cozy loveseat faces the ocean view and can accommodate a young child for sleeping if needed.
A movable desk positioned toward the view provides a comfortable workspace with reliable internet via Starlink, making it a great spot for reading, working remotely, or simply enjoying the scenery. Please note that the interior ceiling height is 5’10”.
The fully equipped kitchen includes two convection hot plates, a toaster oven, a Magic Bullet blender, and a small fridge with a freezer, along with the essentials needed for preparing simple meals.
For comfort in all seasons, the bus includes a wood stove as well as an electric oil-filled heater for colder weather.
The bathroom area features a sit-down shower with a private window and a Nature’s Head composting toilet with a peaceful forest view.
Guests are welcome to explore the surrounding property, including our orchard area, ponds, loop trail through the woods, organic gardens, and our hens and rabbits.
The bus sits on a beautiful semi-rural property halfway between Sechelt and Madeira Park, both about 20 minutes away by car. Perched on a mountainside, the setting offers expansive views of the ocean, nearby islands, and Vancouver Island.
The property is within walking distance of trailheads, including Homesite Creek with its beautiful waterfalls.
Public transportation reaches the Sunshine Coast via BC Ferries and a bus from Langdale (Gibsons) to Sechelt. From there, a car, motorcycle, or bicycle is needed to reach the property, which is located 2.3 km off the highway up a winding road. If you do not have a vehicle, ride-share service “Coastal Rides” and local taxis are available on the Sunshine Coast.
For essentials, the Halfmoon Bay General Store is about five minutes away by car and offers groceries, a small liquor store, and a café overlooking Halfmoon Bay.
Our friendly dog roams freely around our home area on the property. She is gentle but typically stays near the house and will not approach the bus plateau unless called or approached.
We enjoy meeting our guests but also fully respect your privacy if you prefer a quieter stay.
This accommodation is for non-smokers only.

Stephens Way is at the north end of Halfmoon Bay on the east side of the Highway. We are about 4 minutes up Stephens Way, at the top of the mountain. It's the house with the big deck and green roof.
Please take our second driveway, marked by the "House Driveway" sign. This will bring you up to the front of our house. Drive past the house and up to the right. Please park on the plateau where the bus is located.

Tiny Secrets is a family-run, 10-acre retreat cared for entirely by father-daughter duo Kito and Fiona.
Kito & his business partner Karen started this project nearly a decade ago, drawing on their background in engineering, the arts, and business management to hand-build every cabin on the property. You may find Kito's original artwork in your listing. Fiona shapes the retreat's atmosphere, bringing a background in holistic nutrition and six years of experience managing wellness spaces.
As a Brazilian-Canadian family, we run this property on our own, tending to every square inch of the land with our own hands. We've been honoured to have visitors from all over the world help shape where we call home. We speak English and Portuguese, and our focus is simple: to keep this a genuine place of rest, warmth, and quiet connection to the earth.
